In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many of our beloved local bartenders and servers find themselves out of work. Pour it Forward was created to bring the community together in support of those who have served us, by offering local bars the chance to host special events where displaced staff take over for a night. Through collaborative takeovers, featured drinks, raffles, and more, we aim to raise funds and provide much-needed relief to those affected. Whether you’re a bar looking to participate or a patron eager to help, every drink you buy and every event you attend makes a difference. Let’s raise a glass and pour it forward together!
How You Can Get Involved
Whether you’re a bar owner, bartender, or a member of the community, there are plenty of ways to support Pour it Forward. Bars can choose their level of involvement, from offering in-kind donations to hosting a full bar takeover, ensuring every contribution counts. Liquor reps, local businesses, and volunteers can also play a vital role by donating products, sponsoring events, or simply spreading the word. If you’re a patron, attending these events not only helps those in need but gives you the chance to experience unique collaborations, special drinks, and a spirit of generosity that strengthens our community.
